Todd Alan Brawner, 58, died May 10, 2024, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.  He was born September 22, 1965, in Hutchinson, KS, to Elmer ‘Jim’ James Brawner and Rita Faye (Brown) Brawner.

Todd was a 1984 graduate of Nickerson High School, Nickerson, KS.  He was a warehouseman at Dillon Stores Inc., retiring with over 30 years of service.  Todd was a member of the Teamsters Union and served as a Union Steward.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating.  Todd’s love for the outdoors included tending to his flower and vegetable gardens and taking care of his immaculate lawn.  He was a prankster and nobody, whether it be family, friends, or coworkers, was immune to his orneriness.  Todd loved his pets, which included dogs, parrots, tortoises, and chickens.  His lap was always full of his dogs and when he was outside, they followed him everywhere.  Todd had a soft spot in his heart for children that included not only the kids in his family and the kids of friends, but for kids whom he did not know personally.

On February 7, 2007, Todd married Ginny L. Wenzel in Las Vegas, NV.

Todd is survived by:  his wife, Ginny Brawner of Hutchinson, KS; children, Trent (Amy) Brawner of South Hutchinson, KS, and Tiffany Brawner of Hutchinson, KS; sister, Janine (Ted) Calvillo of Hutchinson, KS; grandchildren, Riley Brawner, Briley Brawner, Knox Brawner, Envi Decker, Gage Decker, and Dahlia Dekker; nephews, Peter (Michelle) Calvillo and Ryan (Kenzie) Calvillo; niece, Abby Calvillo; great-niece, Isabella Calvillo; sister-in-law, Cheryl Briggs; brother-in-law, Mike (Carol) Wenzel; sister-in-law, Janey (Rick) Vanderpool; sister-in-law, DeAnna (Mike) Hengle; brother-in-law, R.J. Wenzel; and numerous nieces-in-law and nephews-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Rita Brawner.
