Jacob ‘Jay’ John Seyffer, 47, died January 27, 2024, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS. He was born June 17, 1976, in Golden Valley, MN, to Jacob John Seyffer, Jr. and Joyce Marlys (Herman) Seyffer.
Jay was a 1994 graduate of Clearwater High School, Clearwater, KS. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Wichita State University. Jay was an accountant for Mid Kansas Auto Auction, Wichita, KS. He enjoyed online gaming and had a love for animals, especially dogs.
Jay is survived by: his mother, Joyce Ulmer and stepfather Ronnie of Newton, KS; and his loyal canine terrier companion, Max.
He was preceded in death by his father, and beloved dachshund, Hoagie.
No services are planned at this time. Burial will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
