Victor Dean Moore, born October 21, 1950, in Pratt, Kansas, passed away on November 11, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Moore; his two children, Michael D. Moore and Buffy J. Runyan; and two grandchildren, Darian Shelton and Quentin Moore. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were dear to him.
Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse “Hap” and Delore Moore; his twin brother, Virgil Moore; siblings Patricia Robinson (Moore), Kenneth Moore and Gary Moore; and his previous wife, Cynthia Carey.
Victor had a deep love for the outdoors and was rarely without a boat. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing (all year long) and, in his earlier years, hunting. He cherished quiet mornings with a cup of coffee. A skilled craftsman, there was little he couldn’t build or repair with any material. He took great pride in his finished work.
Among Victor’s greatest joys were his Great Danes. Over the years, he shared his life with many beloved companions: Colby, Wilson, Madeleine, Russell, Brinkley and Rosie.
His hearty, bottomless laugh left an impression on all who knew him.
Victor will be remembered with love and missed deeply by those whose lives he touched. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
A private memorial will be held at a later time.
