Glenn Dean Stucky |1951-2023|

Glenn Dean Stucky, 71, of Galva, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born September 10, 1951 in Goessel, Kansas, the son of Marion J. and Welma V. (Siemens) Stucky.

He graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1969, and later graduated from Kansas State University where he received his Bachelor’s of Science in Vocational Agriculture.

Glenn was a grain and livestock farmer, growing wheat and soybeans, and raising cattle.

He was a member of the First Mennonite Church of Christian.

Glenn was quite the metal worker. He loved crafting metal windmills and gifting them to family. He enjoyed watching sports and looked forward to March Madness, where he would often watch with a Dr. Pepper in hand. Above all, Glenn loved spending time with his two grandsons.

Glenn was united in marriage to Patricia Lynn Clark on July 31, 1976 at Eden Mennonite Church, Moundridge.

He is survived by his wife, and three children, Eric (Kat) Stucky of Wichita, Alex (Carina) Stucky of Durham, NC, and Natalie (Josh) Frye of Sabetha; two grandsons, James Stucky and Carter Frye; mother and father-in-law, Charles and Susan Clark of McPherson; brother, LaVern (Marilyn) Stucky of Peabody; sister, Nancy (Gary) Blake of Galva; brothers-in-law, Ed (Dorothy) Strausz of Alvin, TX and Dennis Clark of McPherson; and sister-in-law, Julie (Lyle) Kroeker of Salina.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Karlyn Strausz and Phyllis Stucky.

Cremation is planned with services to be announced and held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to First Mennonite Church of Christian, Habitat for Humanity, or Heifer International in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, PO Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
