Gayle June Williams, 82, of Buhler, Kansas, passed away September 22, 2024, at Pleasant View Home, Inman, Kansas.
She was born May 21, 1942, in Little River, Kansas, the daughter of Olan and Effie (Holler) Irvine. Gayle has resided in Buhler for the past twelve years, formerly of Hutchinson, Kansas. She graduated from Little River High School, with the class of 1960, and received her registered nursing degree in 1963 from Mercy School of Nursing, Fort Scott, Kansas.
Gayle was a RN for the Hutchinson Clinic for many years. She is survived by her son, Bradley Williams and wife Jeanne of Kent, WA; brother, Keith Irvine of Haysville, KS; sister, Rosemary Bonin and husband Ed of Salina, KS; two grandchildren, Aubrey Williams and Payton Williams both of WA; great-granddaughter, Ivy Williams of WA; nieces; nephews; cousins; and special friend, Vickie Bornholdt of Hutchinson, KS. Gayle is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Steven Irvine.
Graveside service will be held at 2:30 P.M., Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Bean Memorial Cemetery, Little River. Memorials may be given to Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
