Dillon Nature Center to offer Junior Naturalist program

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A program for children ages 8-12 is being offered by the Dillon Nature Center to teach youth about exploring energy sources.

The Junior Naturalist program is being offered Friday, Feb. 4, for Hutchinson students and Friday, Feb. 11, for Buhler students. The program will allow participants to explore wind water and solar energy, and make small solar panels to take home. The day will also include outdoor activities and games. 

The cost of the program is $50 and is limited to 12 participants. Registrations for Hutchinson students must be in by Feb. 1. The registration deadline for Buhler students is Feb. 8.
