HUTCHINSON, Kan. — While attending the NetWork Kansas Central Region Retreat in Minneapolis Kansas, StartUp Hutch was honored to receive an award for their work in entrepreneurship ecosystem cultivation.
Over the past 5 years, StartUp Hutch has worked alongside partners such as the Hutch Chamber, The Hutchinson Community Foundation, business owners and others, to develop a robust entrepreneurship ecosystem in Reno County.
Two new, innovative, ways StartUp Hutch has cultivated the ecosystem are the Entrepreneurship Connections events held every 3rd Tuesday of the month at Sandhills Brewing, and The HotSeat by StartUp Hutch, a podcast featuring successful local businesses, new startups, and business experts.
“It is an honor to be recognized among our peer organizations around the state,” said Jackson Swearer, StartUp Hutch Entrepreneur Navigator and Director. “The credit for this award should go to our many amazing partners, with whom we collaborate to support Reno County entrepreneurs.”
