SEDGWICK COUNTY— Law enforcement continue investigating the death of a man at a construction site in Wichita.

Just before 3p.m. Tuesday, Sedgwick County EMS and the Wichita FIre Deparatment were dispatched to the 1400 Block of West Museum Boulevard after report of an unresponsive man later identified as 61-year-old Mark Scott,  who was possibly trapped in a pipe at a construction site, according to Wichita Police spokesman Kris Gupilan.

First responders found the 61-year-old man, transported him to a local hospital where he was prononced deceased, according to Gupilan. A second worker was also transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries, according to Gupilan.

A preliminary investigation determined Scott, a subcontractor, had been welding at the time of the incident. Electrocution is suspected, according to Gupilan. However, the final cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner's office.
