WICHITA, Kan. — The Arkansas Travelers beat the Wichita Wind Surge 5-2 on Wednesday, snapping the Surge's three game win streak.
Wichita starter Austin Schulfer could only manage four innings on the mound giving up three earned runs, three walks and struck out six. He’s now 1-3 on the season.
Jermaine Palacios and Ernie de la Trinidad each drove in a run in the 5th inning.
The Wind Surge had a season-high four defensive errors in the loss.
