Two men arrested in Hutchinson homicide

HUTCHINSON, Kan.— A man who was a person of interest in a Hutchinson homicide over the weekend has been taken into custody along with a second man.

Detectives and members of the HPD Special Operations division conducted a search warrant on a residence within the city limits of Hutchinson just before noon Monday and located 64-year-old Sandral Wade, a person of interest in a homicide that occurred in the 1500 block of W 12th in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Through the investigation police arrested Wade, and 71-year-old Robert Louis Lagrange, of 1503 W 12th. Both men were charged with first degree murder and attempted first degree murder.

Wade is being held on a bond of $1 million while Lagrange is held on a bond of $500,000. The two are believed to be connected to the Sunday morning shooting that left one man dead and another injured. The names of the victims have not been released.
