Corwin L. Yoder, 66, of Mabelvale, AR, died unexpectedly August 11, 2026, at his home. He was born January 16, 1960, in Hutchinson, to Llyod and Shirley (Headings) Yoder.

Corwin graduated from Central Christian High School and attained his associates degree from Hutchinson Community College. He worked in sales, spending the majority of his career in the millwork industry with Commercial Openings in North Kansas City and later for American Building Specialties Corporation in Little Rock.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed sharing those experiences with his friends and family. He especially valued opportunities to take veterans on hunting and fishing excursions through the Wounded Warrior Project.

Corwin is survived by: beloved daughters, Cara (Chris) Mercier and Emily (Todd) Schonhoff, both of Prairie Village, KS, and Makenzi Yoder of Denver, CO; companion, Teresa Baker of the home; adored mother, Shirley Yoder of South Hutchinson; sister, Lori Kizziar of South Hutchinson; grandson, Harper Mercier of Nixa, MO; nephew and niece, Jeremy (Allison) Kizziar of Sarasota, FL and Kylee (Bobby) Brown of Sallisaw, OK; and 6 great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryder, Lawson, Noah, Lily, Garrett, and Gannon.

Visitation will be Friday, August 14, 2026, with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Wounded Warrior Project, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St. Hutchinson, KS 67501.
