HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven USD 312 School Board voted to ease its mask mandate within the school system.
The vote came during Monday's regular meeting. The district says it will still be diligent to maintain all other components of the COVID protocols that are in place. The current district face covering mandate will be replaced with: “Face coverings are recommended for students and staff with final decision to be made by families and employees.”
The Pretty Prairie School Board also voted Monday to rescind the mask mandate and discontinue temperature checks. The district said the matter would be addressed if numbers begin to increase again.
School districts in the county remain in the green criteria for the week.
