MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. —A 3-year-old Kansas girl died after a drowning on the Elk River after 11:50p.m. Saturday in McDonald County, Missouri.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the girl entered the water approximately 500 yards south of the Las Garzas campground and was unable to swim.
The Patrol released no additional details including the name of the victim.
