HAVILAND, Kan. — Barclay College has revised its Online RN-BSN Degree Completion Program to allow students to complete the degree in as little as two semesters.
The RN-BSN Degree Completion Program requires 60 credit hours of nursing courses. Up to 30 credit hours of ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) or diploma coursework may be awarded upon successful completion of degree requirements.
In addition, the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), one of Barclay College’s accrediting organizations, has allowed Barclay to fully integrate biblical studies into its curriculum with a purposeful approach to integrating faith into the program.
Kim Hansen, Dean of the School of Nursing, says, “We have worked with ABHE to meet their requirements for biblical studies, and we are appreciative of their response which allows us to offer a high-quality program that integrates biblical studies, yet allows students to complete their degree as quickly as possible.”
Barclay College offers the only RN-BSN Degree Completion program in Southwest Kansas. The program is approved by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN). Its highly qualified faculty has over 34 years of combined nursing education experience. The program culminates in clinical practicum courses that synthesize faith and professional concepts.
