
Regina Arleen Oller Parsons passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Born September 13, 1948, she was the second of four children born to the late George W. Oller and Letha Leota (Applegate) Oller.
Regina grew up in Kansas and graduated from Woodston High School. She later attended Brown Mackey School of Business in Salina, where she honed the skills that would serve her throughout her life. Regina was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Hutchinson.
A gifted cook and devoted homemaker, Regina’s love for gardening and her impeccable housekeeping were admired by all who knew her. Her compassion for animals, especially her beloved cat, Ms Kitty, and dog, Patches, brought her joy throughout her life. Regina found immense purpose and fulfillment in running a highly successful daycare center from her home in Hutchinson, where she nurtured and inspired countless children for many years. More recently Regina enjoyed a peaceful retirement in Seguin, TX, with her daughter Denise.
Regina is survived by: her three daughters, Tammy Welch of Hutchinson, Denise (Bill) Wilcox, Seguin, TX, Tina Mendez, McGrew, Nebraska. Her legacy lives on through her nine grandchildren: Austin Graves, Cassidy Graves, Gage Welch, Bethany Wilcox, Margaret Wilcox, Ella Wilcox, Joseph Mendez, Melinda Mendez, and Nicholas Mendez.
She is also survived by: her sister, Rebecca (Marty) Oller Dixson of Liberty, MO; brother, G. Eric (Pat) Oller of Birmingham, AL; and sister-in-law, Barbara Oller of Emporia.
Regina leaves behind numerous friends, extended family members, and the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Joe Oller.
Visitation will be 1-8 p.m., with the family present to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson.
A service celebrating Regina’s life will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025, at Elliott Chapel. Burial to follow in Fairlawn Burial Park.
The service will be livestreamed and the link to view it below will be active beginning at 1:45 p.m. the day of the service.

Regina’s kindness, strength and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
