Sabra Marie Seifert, 76, passed away on January 7, 2026, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. She was born July 21, 1949, in Moline, IL, to Russell Lorraine and Patricia Louise (McCormick) Hanna.
Throughout her life, Sabra focused on her family. She was truly a homebody, who found joy in the simplest things in life. She enjoyed working on her yard, caring for her flowers, enjoying her pool time, sitting on her deck while bird watching and riding her Can-Am out to the field to feed and look at the cows, especially her favorite, Miss Piggy. However, the happiest moments for her were those spent with her children and grandchildren.
On September 2, 1992, she married Laverne ‘Si’ Seifert in Nickerson, KS. They shared over 31 years of marriage, prior to his death on December 16, 2023.
Sabra is survived by: her daughter, Kelly Flores and son, Jason Hoffman; grandchildren, Kaden (Alisia) Flores, Liliana Hoffman, and Christopher (Deena) Seifert; great-grandchildren, Cali Flores, Nellie Flores, Anthony Flores, and Chad Seifert; bonus son, Burk Johnson; siblings, Mary (Larry) Ernst, Gretchen (Dave) Bull, Dustin (Shawn) Wilson, Jet (Buffy) Ashdown, Melissa (Jeff) Richardson and Mark (Carol) DeNise; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Hanna.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Russell and Patricia; husband, Si; grandson, Tanner Flores; brothers, JP Vogelsang, and Bruce Hanna; and step-brother, Keith DeNise.
To honor Sabras’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be planned.
