SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — To celebrate 50 years as a community, Mennonite Friendship Communities is bringing back their auction on Saturday, Oct. 7.
Breakfast will start at 7:30 a.m. The cookie room will open at 8 a.m., with a gift basket silent auction starting at that same time. There will also be a bake sale and the auction will be at 10 a.m. with lunch at 11 a.m.
Proceeds from the auction go to residents who have outlived their resources and to updates to the overall campus.
