HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The American Red Cross and Hutch Rec will offer a babysitting training course next month.
The eight-hour course is for ages 10 through 17 and teaches youth how to respond to emergencies, make good decisions under pressure, communicate with parents, recognize safety and hygiene issues, how to take care of young children and infants, and how to start a babysitting business.
Class will meet on Tuesdays & Thursdays April 6-15 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Hutch Rec Downtown at 17 E 1st. The cost of the course is $50.00 and registration is due by April 5. If you need more information you can contact Hutch Rec at 620-663-6179 or go to hutchrec.com.
