As of 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Evergy outage map is showing around 100 individual outage clusters across Reno County having an effect on thousands of customers.
Country 102.9, KHUT and My 93.1, KHMY are both off the air due to power outages at their transmitter sites, but are still streaming audio.
Evergy is unable to estimate restoration times due to the highway closures slowing the deployment of crews and the depth and breadth of the outages.
