
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Dillons announced that they plan to administer COVID vaccine booster doses, and are prepared to serve additional populations that become eligible for booster doses over time.
According to recent CDC updates pending FDA approval and ACIP recommendations, all Americans will be eligible for a booster/additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine eight months after the completion of their initial vaccine series. To encourage more residents to get the COVID-19 vaccine and ensure residents in long-term care facilities and ages 65 and older can take advantage of these changes:
Starting immediately, Dillons Health is administering booster/additional doses of COVID-19 vaccines to immunocompromised individuals per the FDA/ACIP guidance.
Dillons Health will also begin providing COVID-19 immunization services to long-term care facilities and eligible Americans. Eligible groups can schedule appointments at www.dillons.com/covidvaccine or by calling 1-866-211-5320 and completing a brief survey.
The store chain says it continues to offer COVID-19 at-home testing, rapid antigen, and rapid antibody testing.
