HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Help is available to warm your home during the cold Kansas winter.

Apply in person at the upcoming community event for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) to restore or maintain electricity, natural gas, propane and other home heating fuels.

​The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) is a Federally funded program that helps eligible households pay a portion of their home energy costs by providing a one-time per year benefit.

The combined gross income (before deductions) of all persons living ​at the address may not exceed 150% of the federal poverty level. 

When: February 8, 2024, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: Hutchinson Public Library at 901 N. Main Street Hutchinson, KS 67501

What to Bring: Identification, Proof of Income, and Current Utility Bills
