Kingman County Color Run next month

KINGMAN, Kan. — The 2nd Annual Kingman County Strong Color Run for Suicide Prevention is Saturday, Sept. 23 at Riverside Park in Kingman. Check in is at 7 a.m., the race starts at 8 a.m.

The race itself is free, but they are seeking sponsorships to help fund the Kingman County Mental Health HOPE Kit Project. Kits will be distributed to Kingman County schools, medical clinics, law enforcement agencies and the health department.

You can register for the Color Run online, or pick up forms at the Kingman Healthcare Center.

Last year, they had over 500 participants.

The 5K and 1 Mile walk will both start and end at Riverside Park in Kingman, Kansas. 5K medals will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in both the adult and youth groups.
