Dwight Eldon Cramer, 92, died July 18, 2025, in Hutchinson.  He was born September 24, 1932, in rural Sylvia, KS, to Edward Lee and Josie Ellen (Miller) Cramer. 

Dwight graduated from Sylvia High School and served in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1953.  He retired from Koch Industries as an accountant and chief estimator, after 48 years of service.  Dwight enjoyed woodworking, camping, fishing, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals with his son.  He appreciated the outdoors, and could often be found sitting outside, in all types of weather on his bench, partaking in his favorite hobby.  In addition, Dwight made sure his family, friends, and caregivers always knew how much he appreciated everything they did for him, even the small tasks. Above all, Dwight cherished time spent with his family.  

On September 13, 1951, he married Phyllis Marie Hall, at First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.  She died November 7, 2019, after they shared 68 years of marriage.  

Dwight is survived by:  daughters, Sherry Miller of Kechi, Pam Saner (Ron) of Park City, and Christie Hanna of Hutchinson; son, Greg Cramer (Connie Oliver) of Wichita; sister, Geneva Hesher of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; wife; four sisters; one brother; and a grandson.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Elliott Chapel.  Burial will follow in Sylvia Cemetery, with military honors presented by the United States Navy Honor Guard.  Friends may sign his book from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday at Elliott Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Susan G. Komen Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS  67501.
