HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson USD 308 School Board will continue discussion regarding the ongoing negotiations with its teachers when they meet on Monday.
The two sides are at an impasse and a mediator has been brought in to try and bring the two sides together on a new contract. The discussion will be held in executive session.
Also Monday, the board will discuss a COVID retention bonus for classified and administrative staff. If approved the funds would be paid out of the contingency funds reserve. The funds were set aside during the 2021-22 budget process.
And the board will go into a study session to discuss the district's goals and how they are moving along to meet them. Monday’s meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the USD 308 administration center at 1520 N. Plum.
