
HAVEN, Kan. — The Haven Wildcats opened postseason play on Monday afternoon with a 4-0 shutout of fellow Central Kansas League foe, Halstead.
The Wildcats grabbed an early 1-0 lead after the first inning, and then would add three more in the third to account for their four runs.
DJ Miller would toss a complete game shutout on the mound to pave the way for the Wildcats.
Haven (17-4) will now play Wichita
Collegiate (15-4) on Wednesday in the regional semifinal in Harper. The Spartans
defeated Douglass on Monday, 3-1.
