Misti Francene DeBerry, 52, of Lyons, died in the arms of her loved ones April 26, 2023, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born September 8, 1970, in Hutchinson, to Edward W. and Sharon K. (Whithorn) Snell.
In addition to being a homemaker, Misti worked for many years as a CNA at Good Samaritan Society - Lyons. Along with her husband, Chris, she was co-owner of Jones Oil Company in Lyons. Misti loved being a grandma, and enjoyed going on cruises, being at the lake, sunsets, and gardening. She was outgoing and generous, and, in death, donated her kidneys and other tissue so others could survive.
On August 14, 1992, Misti married Ronald DeBerry, in Hutchinson. They later divorced. On September 12, 2015, she married Christopher J. Hass, in Lyons. He survives.
Also surviving are: her daughter, Holli DeBerry (fiancé, Codey Johnson) of South Hutchinson; son, Jacob Tomlin of Buhler; granddaughters, Adrianna Ford and Remington Johnson; mother, Sharon Snell of Hutchinson; brothers, Troy Snell of Wellington, Larry Snell of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.
Cremation has taken place and a remembrance celebration of her life with us will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Holli’s house, 520 S. Walnut, South Hutchinson.
