MCPHERSON, Kan. — The Civic Awareness Committee of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2023 Legislative Update on Saturday, February 18th at 9:00 a.m. The event is at KMU, 2090 E Ave. A. with an opportunity to hear from McPherson County's state legislators.
The following have confirmed their attendance, Kansas Senator Richard Wilborn (District 35), Kansas Representatives Les Mason (73rd District), Paul Waggoner (104th District), and Stephen Owens (74th District).
The Legislative Update will begin with time to hear from the Representatives and Senator about important activity in the state legislature, and what they are working to accomplish in their committees. The audience will then have the opportunity to ask questions.
KMU is sponsoring the event space and coffee. The Legislative Update is free and open to the public. It will also be available on the McPherson Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
