Lloyd H. Armstrong, 78, died December 30, 2022, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born May 24, 1944, in Hutchinson, to Harold ‘Mike’ Guy and Margaret Ella (Johanning) Armstrong.

Lloyd graduated from Hutchinson High School and attended Hutchinson Community College. He worked at Eaton Corporation, formerly Cessna Fluid Power Division. Lloyd owned and operated Armstrong Antiques.

Lloyd was an avid supporter of downtown development, loft downtown living believer, hot rod enthusiast, member of Radicals car club, loved to tell stories (not sure always true), craft beer lover, but most of all loved and so very proud of his wife, son, daughter and grandkids.  He was a lifelong St. Teresa Catholic Church member, historian, and maintenance keeper. 

On April 27, 1968, he married Anne Dixon, at St. Teresa Catholic Church. They shared over 54 years of marriage.

Lloyd is survived by: wife, Anne Armstrong of Hutchinson; son, Brian Armstrong of Topeka; daughter, Jennifer Armstrong (Tom Hickok) of Granby, CO; grandchildren, Caleb Kelley of Granby, CO, Lauren and Charlotte Armstrong of Topeka; and sister, Johanna Harris of Hutchinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Teresa Catholic Church, 211 E. 5th Ave., Hutchinson. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Elliott Mortuary. Cremation has taken place.
