BUHLER, Kan. — Buhler Public Schools and the Buhler Frolic are working together to host a 5K and One Mile Walk at the Buhler Frolic this year on Saturday, October 7th.
They are inviting all interested to be a part, whether you are a runner, jogger, walker, or walker and talker.
The 5K, which will start at 8 a.m., will be a course designed in and around Buhler, starting and ending at Prairie Bank of Kansas, 200 N Main St. At the end of the ceremony, organizers will acknowledge the top three runners and recognize them with a gift.
The One-Mile will stretch down Main Street from Prairie Bank of Kansas to Buhler Grade School and back to PBK and start at 8:45 a.m.
Funds from the event will support the Buhler Schools wellness program. Registration is just $20.
You can register online. The deadline for registration is Sept. 1. The goal is 100 participants.
