HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Ranger used a strong start to the second half to pull away from Cochise in the first round of the NJCAA National Tournament 86-68.
Leading by just four at the half Ranger held the Apaches to just 25% shooting in the second half to lead by a much as 23 points. The Rangers were led by Jorell Saterfield with 23 points. Cochise got 16 points from Patrick Somura. Ranger moves on to play John A Logan while the Apaches end the season at 11-4.
