HUTCHINSON COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Hutchinson Community Foundation is seeking proposals for its annual Gift to Dream Grant.

The $2,500 grant has been awarded each year since 2022 to a Reno County community benefit organization in need of resources to imagine what is possible for the organization beyond the daily work of supporting its mission. Off-site board or staff retreats, organizational coaches, an immersive experience with clients, or a field trip to another community to learn and be inspired are examples of uses that capture the spirit of the grant.

Previous grant winners are Milestone Clubhouse for member visits to other clubhouses ahead of accreditation, the Reno County Museum for a joint board and staff team-building retreat, NAMI Reno County to make mental health resources more accessible, and Hutch in Harmony for staff rest and restoration.

To be considered for the grant, the one-question application must be submitted by midnight Sept. 11 at this link.

Proposals must come from 501(c)(3) organizations serving Reno County. One $2,500 grant will be awarded by peers at Hutch CF’s celebration event, UPLIFT 2026, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8 at the Rhapsody on B, 9 W. Ave. B in Hutchinson. The grant is provided by the Fund for Reno County of Hutchinson Community Foundation and given in honor of Hutch CF's Legacy Society.

For questions, contact Senior Program Officer Jan Steen, jan@hutchcf.org or 620-663-5293.

Hutchinson Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire philanthropy, leadership, and collaboration to strengthen Reno County. Since 1989, the foundation has granted more than $114 million to organizations.
