Robert O. “Bob” Hall, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Bob was born April 1, 1944 in Van Nuys, California to Orin and Ages Hall. Bob was raised in Gettysburg, SD. He graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1962. He graduated from the University of South Dakota Business School in 1966. Bob and Sue Loitwood were married in 1962 and to this union two daughters Christine and Kelly were born. They were blessed with three grandsons Luke, Jake and Jonah. 

Bob was a member of The Church of the Holy Cross, Knights of Columbus, Republicans of Reno County and served as a precinct Committeeman. His hobbies included sailing, flying, biking and walking. Bob’s career included McGladrey, Hansen Dunn and Company, Mason City, Iowa, South Dakota Utilities Commission, Pierre, SD, Kansas Nebraska Gas Company, Phillipsurg, KS. Bob served Ark Valley Electric Cooperative with leadership, loyalty and dedication for 33 years. 

He is survived by: his wife, Sue; daughters, Christine and Kelly; grandsons, Luke, Jake, and Jonah; brothers, Chuck and Bernie; sisters Jan and Jill; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Parish Rosary will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Church of the Holy Cross, 2631 Independence Rd, Hutchinson, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Friends may sign his book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary.
