Iris Ann Logue (nee Bossing), 83, died Friday March 10, 2023 at Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was born on August 30, 1939 in Great Bend, Kansas to Howard William Bossing and Elsa Marie Bossing
(nee Janssen). She graduated from Holyrood Rural High School in 1957.
In March 1963, she married Donald Edward Logue in Great Bend, Kansas. Since 1963, she was resident of Hutchinson,Kansas and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She worked for Sears and Walmart before retiring at 65 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her husband Don, an infant son, her brother Gary “Ike” Bossing, and her parents. She is survived by her brother Lewis Bossing (Janice) of Castle Hayne NC; her three daughters: Julie Arms (David) of Okarche OK, Sheree Logue (Tom Gould) of Boalsburg PA, and Erica Kilpatrick (John) of Hutchinson KS; her 11 grandchildren (Matthew, Krystle, Paul, Kort, Dagny, Wyatt, Mason, Marcus, Sara, Sean-Patrick, and Seth); her 9 great-grandchildren; her step-daughter Denne Spooner of California; her sister-in-law Beverly Logue of Grand Island NE; 5 nephews, and several great nephews and nieces.
Funeral Services will be held at Old Mission Heritage Funeral Home in Hutchinson, KS, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Graveside service to follow at Fairlawn Burial Park.
