Bruce L. Caudillo, 52, of Hutchinson, died November 5, 2022, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born September 6, 1970 in Hutchinson, to Ben and Linda (Guthrie) Caudillo.
Bruce graduated from Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, in 1990. While in high school, he participated in football and boxing.
He was a member of Moose Lodge #982. Bruce was a passionate Chiefs and KU fan. His family remembers him as a gentle giant. He enjoyed people and was often lost at events, only to be found talking to people and giving hugs.
Bruce is survived by: parents, Ben and Linda Caudillo, Hutchinson; sister, Leticia Caudillo, Hutchinson; niece, Erica Caudillo, Wichita; paternal grandmother, Rachel Caudillo, Hutchinson; girlfriend, Chrystal Stapleton, Hutchinson; beloved chiweenie, Little Bit; two great nieces, nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Joy Guthrie; paternal grandfather, Narciso Caudillo; and one uncle, Charles Holder.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2022, at Elliott Mortuary. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Elliott Mortuary.
