Andrew "Andy" Castor, 70, passed peacefully December 4, 2024 at Hospice House surrounded by family after a long-fought battle with cancer.
He was born February 21st, 1954 in Hutchinson, to Marvin and Isabel (Raya) Castor.
Andy was a graduate of Central High School. He enjoyed going to garage sales and flea markets, watching old T.V. shows, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Andy is survived by: children, Marlena (Eric) Hernandez, Christina Castor, Rafael Castor all of Hutchinson, and Jeremiah (Davina) Castor of Moundridge; grandchildren: Mariah, Erica, Gabriella, and Isaiah Hernandez, Bostyn Castor, Brinley Smith, Ryan, Mathew and Katie Castor; great grandchildren: Zoey and Waylon siblings: Philip (Karen) Godina, David (Vanita) Castor, Randy Castor, Tim (Margie) Castor, all of Hutchinson, Sarah (Arturo) Mendez, and John (Anita) Castor of Wichita; aunts: Lucy Raigoza, and Carmen (Alberto) Tenorio; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place. Parish Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 13th, 2024 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 612 S. Maple, South Hutchinson. Inurnment will follow at 11:00 a.m Friday December 13th, 2024 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th, Hutchinson. Friends may sign the book from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, at Elliott Mortuary.
