Cosmosphere ready to open full time

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Cosmosphere announced Tuesday that starting Friday, May 28 they will return to seven days a week of operation. 

The new CosmoKids interactive STEM area for children will be fully open and the weekend feature films at the Carey Digital Dome Theater will come back as well. 

Two new documentaries launch May 28 and bring the real drama of space to life. The documentary combo of “Asteroid Mission Extreme” and “Astronaut—Ocean to Orbit” feature the science and secrets of asteroids and the intense underwater training that helps NASA astronauts overcome crisis in space. 

The Cosmosphere  will be open 9 a.m. to 5  p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
