ST. JOHN, Kan. — The Stafford County Child Care Committee said progress on their building at 413 N. Pearl Street in St. John that will be a child care center continues.
"The building has been assembled," the group said Thursday. "The skirting and decking are installed. Utilities have been getting hooked up this week."
The facility is still several months from being operational.
"The state fire marshal should complete their inspection this month," the group said.
In order to have a licensed facility, anyone who is hired will need to become licensed by KDHE which is a 90+ day process. If you are interested in applying, email your resume and three references by December 30 to [email protected].
While the licensing process is underway, necessary modifications will be made to the building.
