SEDGWICK COUNTY —The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking assistance from the public to identify witnesses from a two-vehicle fatality collision that occurred at approximately 10:44 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, according to a media release from the KHP.
A 2013 Suzuki SX4 driven by Kassandra A. Ramos, 22, Wichita, was northbound on Interstate 235 just south of Central Avenue.
The car crossed the median. A southbound 2016 Jeep Wrangler driven by April R. Fisher, 38, Newton, struck the Suzuki.
Ramos was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to the county forensics center. Fisher had minor injuries. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
