SALINA, Kan. — Phillips Seed Farms is hosting a Whitetail Management Summit at the Tony's Pizza Event Center in Salina on February 18th starting at 10:00 a.m., doors open at 9:30 a.m.
There will be 3 speakers for the event, all experts on whitetail management in their own unique ways.
The event will combine the scientific research on whitetail from Dr. Bronson Strickland of Mississippi State University and over 40 years of field experience in hunting/tree planting/managing properties from Don Higgins (owner of Real World Wildlife Products & Higgins Outdoors) as well as his habitat consulting partner/RWWP special projects & sales Wes Delks.
Higgins is practically a celebrity in the whitetail industry as an outdoor writer, habitat consultant & having harvested 3 whitetail bucks with archery equipment scoring over 200 inches. His top 5 bucks combined average over 200 inches.
Any rural landowner can learn strategies to establish better wildlife habitat and grow healthier deer herds.
Registration for the event can be done online at whitetailmanagementsummit.rsvpify.com or on the events page at Tony's Pizza Event Center or by phone at (785) 949-2204.
