Teresa Elaine Stucky, 59, of Moundridge, Kansas, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 peacefully at her home. She was born December 8, 1964 in Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Edwin D. and Dorothy Elaine (Zerger) Stucky.
She graduated from Moundridge High School with the class of 1983. Teresa later graduated with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from Bethel College with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1987.
She was baptized at Eden Mennonite Church and was a current member and part of the initial church plant team of Grace Crossing Church in Moundridge.
Teresa was united in marriage to Blaine Eric Stucky on June 5, 1987. They shared 36 years of marriage.
After college she started her career as accountant and office manager for Wray Roofing in Newton where she worked for 6 years. Teresa then devoted her time as a homemaker after the birth of their son, Blake, and daughter, Brianna.
She is survived by husband, Blaine of the home and daughter Brianna of Moundridge; sisters, Vianne (Randy) Hagen of Hillsboro, and Sandy (Scott) Harders of Moundridge; brother, Douglas (Melissa) Stucky of Hesston; father-in-law, Ken K. Stucky of Moundridge; sister-in-law, Tammy (Greg) Fast of Moundridge; brother-in-law, Kirk (Carla) Stucky of Moundridge; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents Edwin D. and Dorothy Stucky; son, Blake Elliott Stucky (2001); and mother-in-law, Patricia A. Stucky (2016).
Cremation is planned with memorial services to be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 12, 2024 at Eden Mennonite Church. A private burial will take place at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 11, at the church.
