HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Salthawk Community Support is looking for items for The Hawks Nest at HMS-8.
The Hawks Nest is a fun place for students to relax, play games including basketball, air hockey and ping pong, play video games, have free time, and get rewarded for a job well done.
It is also home to after school clubs, a place to meet with mentors, and home of the Hawks Closet - making available hygiene and clothing products for students.
The Hawks Nest is currently looking for the following items in preparation for next year:
Board games, art supplies, card games
Moon chairs/bean bag chairs, Big Joe Chairs, floor chairs/giant pillows
Xbox 360 games (age appropriate)
Wii games (age appropriate)
Ping Pong Accessories, as they have a ping pong/air hockey table
