Buford “Butch” Minor was born in Los Angeles, CA, January 24, 1943, to Martin and Viola Minor. He passed away January 05, 2023 at Schowalter Vila Bluestem in Hesston, KS.
Butch met and married his wife Maryln, on October 20, 1985, where after living in different states, life took them both back to Hutchinson, KS.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Maryln, daughter, Caritha (Jake) Lemen, son, Eric Fleming, grandchildren, Breanne and Evan Bolte, their father Jesse, Konnor Fleming, Keyton Fleming and Lily Reed.
Butch was well known wherever he went as the life of the party. He was always smiling, and was the type of person who never met a stranger.
Butch had a flair for music and loved playing the guitar, singing and loved trains. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, including the famous cheater “Uno” with the grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Christian Church, 4310 North Monroe, Hutchinson, KS, Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
