BUHLER, Kan. — Buhler USD 313 will hold a special BOE meeting Monday, and as part of that meeting, they will update their Open Enrollment Policy.
According to Superintendent Cindy Couchman, the three major changes are:
1. Applications for open enrollment are now taken from January 1- June 15.
2. Schools can apply their "student in good standing" policy to students before entering the lottery.
3. Virtual schools are exempt from open enrollment guidelines.
The USD 313 Board of Education meets Monday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at the Burkholder Administrative Center in Buhler.
