HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The public is invited to a Backyard BBQ to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Mary Magdalene House at 7201 East 4th, east of Hutchinson June 10 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come enjoy the music of local band Kilometer 81 (bluegrass music).
There will be a pulled pork dinner with all the fixings.
While you are there, be sure and check out all of the facility updates and new programs. There will be jam available.
The Mary Magdalene House does not charge for services. They rely on the community support, taking the burden off the families who are walking through crisis.
They do need to know how many people are coming, so they can have enough food for everyone, so register in advance.
