ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 1a.m. Friday, an officer on patrol observed a stopped vehicle with its lights off that was blocking the roadway in the 1400 block South 8th Street in Atchison, according to Police Mike Wilson.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, 20-year-old Kaylee Johnson of Ozawkie, was subsequently found to be possession of an open container of alcohol, fentanyl, and smoking devices containing THC. She was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the County Jail. She is being held on requested charges of possession of fentanyl, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container, and possession of alcohol by an underage person.
