Carol June Heisler, 73, of Kingman, died May 13, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. She was born April 1, 1950, in Hutchinson, to Jess A. and Elva P. (Kerns) Bishop.
Carol attended Hutchinson schools. She was a bus driver for Haven and Pretty Prairie schools for many years until retiring in 2019. Carol loved horses, barrel racing, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
On May 20, 2002, she married Mike Heisler in Harrison, Arkansas. He survives.
Also surviving are: her daughters, Amanda Trimmell (fiancé, Larry Divine) of Grove, Oklahoma, Lori Bieker of Salina; grandchildren, Amber Tanner (Zach), Seth Trimmell (Iris), Aubrey Garfolo (John), Haley Trimmell, Dustin Bieker; great-grandchildren, Augustus Tanner, Reed Trimmell, Amelia Tanner, Rylee Trimmell, Arjun Singh Makkar, Andi Tanner; sisters, Connie Constant (Terry), Christine Rounds, both of Hutchinson; and many extended family members.
Carol was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, Wayne Bishop; and niece, Maureen Bishop Dowsey.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will be 2 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023, at Elliott Chapel. The service will be livestreamed and the link below to view it will be active at 1:45 p.m. the day of the service.
