Wanda Fay Flynn, 78, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Mennonite Friendship Manor, South Hutchinson, KS. She was born in Leachville, Arkansas on April 18, 1945 to Claudie and Josephine (Davis) Healey.

Fay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and follower of Christ.  She married Darrell “Butch” Flynn in December 1961 in Hutchinson, KS.  They had two sons, Danny and Randy Flynn.  Fay and Butch shared 61 wonderful years of marriage together. Butch survives of the home.

Fay is also survived by her sons, both of Hutchinson; sister, Brenda Hill of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Heather, Darren, Jordan, Joshua, and Nick; and twelve great-grandchildren, Kia, Elijah, Amira, Baylee, Hayden, Layken, Juliana, Jameson, Sawyer, Myles, Karis, and Rowan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudie and Josephine; and her three brothers, Bucky, Frankie, and Jim “Bo” Healey.

Fay would always ask people, “Do you know Jesus?” And, “Do you know he loves you?”

The family will be holding a private gathering at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mennonite Friendship Manor, and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 300 E. 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502.
