
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin work to replace traffic signs along U.S. 50 and K-61 in Reno County in the coming days. Work is expected to start around June 28.
The work will cover a total of 67 miles along US-50 and K-61 from county line to county line. The work is expected to have minimal impact on traffic.
Depending on the weather, the work is scheduled to be completed around mid-September.
Martin Outdoor Enterprises Inc., of Pittsburg, is the contractor for the $419,995 project.
