Police: Kan. drug suspects were in lake park after curfew

ATCHISON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating three suspects on multiple allegations after an arrest.

Shortly before 2a.m. on Sunday an officer on patrol made contact with a vehicle at Warnock Lake because the vehicle was in the park after the 11p.m. curfew, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson. The three occupants of the vehicle, Alyissa Berglund, Chase Chapman, and Kevin Hobbs, were found to be in possession of controlled substances.

Alyissa M. Berglund, 27, Atchison, was arrested on requested charges for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chase J. Chapman, 31, Huron, was arrested on requested charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

Kevin E. Hobbs, 22, Effingham, was arrested on requested charges for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
