SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of South Hutchinson plans to keep their mill levy flat for 2024, while exceeding the Revenue Neutral Rate.
The Revenue Neutral Rate and budget hearings are scheduled as part of Monday's meeting.
South Hutch will have budget authority of $8,033,137, while levying $1,178,333 in Ad Valorem tax in 2024.
The mill levy will be 43.500, with the majority of reallocated mill levy going to the general fund, as the bond and interest levy went down considerably.
The South Hutchinson City Council meets Monday night at 6 p.m. at the city offices at 2 South Main.
